Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Louise Harris, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home. Dot was born on January 21, 1940 a daughter of the late Betty E. and William F. Dunn Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Leroy Harris. She was a member of the Maple Street Baptist Church of Cleveland. She was the manager of CVS in Dalton and had served the company for more than forty years.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Pam Harris of Chatsworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Adam Galloway of Calhoun, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Claudia Dunn, Bob and Vickie Dunn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Ed Cross, Janice and Danny Casteel, Debbie and Chuck Beshears all of Cleveland, TN, Sue and Spencer Evans Jr. of Countryside, IL; grandchildren, Zachary and Kara Harris, Kayla Yother, Hunter Cantrell, Kierston Keefer, Kimberly Keefer, Katlynn Keefer, Avery and Autumn Galloway; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday March 19, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Louise Harris will be held immediately following visitation at Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home of Dalton, GA, with Pastor Randy Davis of Echota Baptist Church of Calhoun, GA officiating.
