Mrs. Doris Carolyn Hall, age 67, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, November 11, 2013 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born April 9, 1946 in Walker County, Georgia, a daughter of the late William and Carrie O'Bryant Arnold. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thomas Hall, brothers, Albert and Fred Arnold, sisters, Eva Tackett, and Evelyn Bearden. Doris was affectionately called, "Miss Carol". She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Jeff Piotrowski of Ringgold, Georgia; granddaughter, Stephanie Piotrowski; grandson, Adam Piotrowski; great-grandson, Landon Cole Piotrowski; sister, Vergie Burkett of Lafayette, GA; special great-niece, Karen Daniels; several other nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Doris Carolyn Hall will be held Wednesday November 13, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor J.R. Holcomb officiating. She will be laid to rest in the West Hill Cemetery next to her husband with her family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 1:00 P.M. Wednesday until the service hour.
