Mrs. Doreen J. Roe, age 56, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away Tuesday September 20, 2016 at Pruitt Health at Shepherd Hills. Doreen was born November 9, 1959 in Detroit, MI. She was preceded in death by her father, George V. Garcia. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Murray County.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenni Roe McBrayer of Rome, GA; parents, Dorothy Walls and Maurice Caldwell of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Kay and Ricky Forrest of Chatsworth, GA, Georgette and Daniel Hunt of Calhoun, GA; father of her child, Tommy Roe of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Kaylee Nichols, Annaleigha Nichols, Preston McBrayer; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Doreen J. Roe will be held Friday September 23, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. from the New Hope Kilgore Cemetery with CJ Walls officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
