Mrs. Dora Jane Coram, age 82, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Friday January 17, 2020 at her home. She was born July 26, 1937 in Ellijay, GA, a daughter of late Charlie and Gladys Pritchett Dockery. She was also preceded in death by her husband Melvin James Coram, brothers, Wilburn Dockery, Lester Dockery, sisters, Alene Laken, Inzie McAuthor, Rachel Taylor, Callie Watson.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Gregory Sisson of Nicholsville, GA, Bobby and Terase Sisson of Ellijay, GA; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dora Jane Coram will be held Tuesday January 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Glenn Arnold and Reverend Wesley Noland officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Garden with Gregory Sisson, Bobby Sisson, Steven Sisson, John Sisson, Nathan Sisson, David Dockery and Lloyd McAurthor serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
