Miss Donnita Lynn Cagle, age 69, of Dallas, Georgia, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born on February 16, 1956, in Dalton, Georgia, the beloved daughter of the late Herbert Cagle Sr. and Reba Cagle of Calhoun, Georgia.

Donnita was known for her unwavering dedication, fierce spirit, and attention to every detail. She approached life with strength and determination, never wavering in her convictions. Those who knew her best will remember her as a woman who stood her ground, fought for what she believed in, and fiercely protected the people she loved. When it came to family and friends, Donnita's loyalty and compassion knew no limits — she would fight for you till the very end.

Her warmth, wisdom, and tenacity will live on through the many lives she touched. Whether she was sharing laughter with loved ones, offering a helping hand, or ensuring every task was done just right, Donnita's presence made a lasting impact.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Reba Cagle of Calhoun, GA; her loving sisters, Pamala and the late Gennadi Matis of Scottsdale, AZ; Karen and the late Farrel Throne of Dallas, GA; Tammy (Chris) Fonville of Chatsworth, GA; and Angie Caldwell of Calhoun, GA; as well as her cherished brother, Herburt (Nan) Cagle of Fork Union, VA.

Donnita also leaves behind a large and loving extended family — nieces and nephews Hugh and Keely Cagle, Alex and Pelin Cagle, Aubrie and Shawn Stevely, Casey and Megan Cagle, Tiffany and Chris Sun, Nicholas and Megan Fisher, Wesley Fisher, Ben and Heather Thorne, Kim and Dusty Shook, and Angie and Adam Caldwell.

Her great-nieces and great-nephews — Abby Cagle, Titus and Seth Cagle, Gracie, Baylee, and Trey Thorne, Lilly and Hudson Shook, and William, Charlie, and Emma Caldwell — will carry forward her legacy of love and strength.

Donnita's family and friends will forever remember her unwavering heart, her laughter, and the countless ways she made life brighter for everyone around her.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Donnita Lynn Cagle will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, (2049 Lower Kings Bridge Road, Dalton, GA, 30721) with, Reverend Chris Corbin Officiating, she will be laid to rest at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery with Chris Corbin, James Sheilds, Ira Purkey and Dusty Shook honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Friday morning at the church until the service hour.
