Mr. Donnie Franklin Lewallen , age 67, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, February 19, 2023, at his residence. He was born June 3, 1955 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Ernest Franklin and Helen Juanita Helton Lewallen. He was also preceded in death by his sister Brenda Gamblin.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Theron McDaniel of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Jay McDaniel, Wes McDaniel; brother, Dewayne Lewallen of Pigeon Forge, TN; companion, Lisa Woodard of Dalton, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Donnie Franklin Lewallen will be held Saturday March 4, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel his son-in-law Theron McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
