Mr. Donnie Wayne Ford Sr., age 67, of Calhoun, GA., departed this life, Monday, at his home, with family and friends at his side. Donnie was born November 21, 1948 in Detroit, MI. The son of the late Buford Ford and Helen Mitchell Ford. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Roger Ford, and sisters Sandra Ford and Peggy Ford. He was retired from Dalton State College after twelve years of service.

Mr. Donnie Wayne Ford Sr., is survived by his children, Donnie and Samantha Ford Jr. of Chatsworth, GA., daughters, Dena Ford, Tina and Robert Washington, Kelly and Scott Stansell, all of Calhoun GA., step-son, Blake McDaniel of Blue Ridge, GA., step-daughter, Andrea Brooke McDaniel of Jasper, GA., sister, Nella and Gerald O'Neal, of Scottville, KY., fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Donnie Wayne Ford Sr., will be held, Thursday May 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. from Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Rev. Larry Mitchell officiating.

The family will receive friends, Thursday May 5, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the service hour.
