Mrs. Donna Allene Redwine Watson, age 47, of Dalton, Georgia, formerly of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Chickamauga, Georgia departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the local hospital. She was born December 23, 1971 in Dalton, GA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don Allen Redwine.  She is survived by husband, Tony Watson of the residence; parents, J.W. and Dianne Lawson of Hixson, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Zack and Leann Redwine of Chattanooga, TN;  sister, Lisa Culver of Chattanooga, TN;  grandson, Ethan Stephenson; grandfather, Sherry Cole of Hixson, TN; step brother, Mitchell Lawson, stepsister, Debi Kerns; mother-in-law, Annette Whittaker of Dalton, GA; sisters-in-law, Tricia Campbell of Marietta, GA, Tonya Henderson, Tasha Whatley of Atlanta, GA; God mother, Barbara Whatley of Atlanta, GA; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Donna was blessed to have spent her final years with her husband Tony, whom she adored.  They loved to host barbeques and hang out at the pool with friends. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, cooking, singing karaoke with friends and spending time with her family.

Donna overcame many personal difficulties and health problems.  Overcoming these challenges made her a strong and courageous woman. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.

She spent her career working in the medical field.  She held several positions, but spent most of her career as a Certified Surgical Technician working on the Erlanger Heart and Transplant team for many years.

A Service to celebrate the life of Donna will be Sunday December 15, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.
