Ms. Donna Lee Mathis, age 65, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Friday March 27, 2020 at the Erlanger Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1954 in Danville, Virginia, a daughter of the late Bobby Mathis Sr. and Dorothy Mae Abbott Mathis.

She is survived by her son, Michael Byers; daughter, Jessica Collier, Ashley Raywell of Dalton, GA; brother, Kenneth Mathis of Cohutta, GA, Bobby Mathis Jr. of Sugar Valley, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Chris Withrow of Rocky Face, GA, Linda and David Long, Patricia Mathis of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Byers, Hannah Byers, Zoey Collier, Zylin Raywell, David Sloane; seven nieces and nephews.

In leiu of flowers family request donations be made to Ponders Funeral Home for funeral expenses.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
