Mr. Donald Gene Tanner, age 74, of Canton, Georgia, departed this life, Sunday February 20, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Donald was born September 21, 1947 in Marietta, Georgia, the son of the late, Leroy and Bessie Ann Trout. He was also preceded in death brother, Lee Tanner. Donald was a truck driver and drove for many companies over the years, but retiring with Fulton Concrete.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Tammy and Peter Estrada, Linda and Hank Pendley, Tonya Ramsey; sisters, Evelyn Ingram, Joyce Morris, Margie Tanner, Betty Ann Underwood; grandchildren, Brhea, Corey, Alexis, Alyssa, Abby, Steven, Stacey, Chance, Cassie and nine great-grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Donald Gene Tanner will be held Sunday February 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Fairmount Chapel with Pastor Roy Morris officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday February 26, 2022 at Ponders Fairmount

Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
