Ms. Diana Lynn "Lucy" Edwards, age 62, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Monday, February 8, 2021 at Gordon Advent Health in Calhoun,Georgia. Lucy was born October 19, 1958. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Thomas Edwards.

She is survived by her husband, Lowell Underwood of the residence; mother, Betty Price of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya Underwood and Billy Smith; son and daughter-in-law, John and Becky Underwood all of Resaca, GA; grandchildren, Erin and Christopher Hunt, Colby Rich, Cara and Cody Carroll, Tiffany and AJ Mills, Keith Underwood, Kayla Underwood, Harley Smith and Billy Smith, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Camden Hunt, Olivia Carroll, Audrey Rickett, Tinleigh Mills, Aleah Mills, Jauston Mills, Kaylee Mills, Braxtyn Underwood, Katie Underwood, Kinley Stewart, Katlen Steele, Maddie Underwood and Zaylen Underwood; brothers, Eric Edwards of Dalton, GA, Lester Edwards of Chatsworth, GA; aunts, Sue Ensley, Connie Stansell and Katherine Carrollall of Dalton, GA; nieces, Ashley Miller and Erica Edwards; nephews, Shaun Edwards and Brandon Turner; special neighbor, Hunter Stokes; several other nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Diana Lynn "Lucy" Edwards will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Reverend Nicky Starling officiating. She will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial Church , with Chris Hunt, Cody Carroll, Chris Miller, Shaun Edwards, Billy Smith and Dakota Hunter serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. Friday morning until the service hour.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
