Mr. Dewayne Harrington, age 57, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Friday evening, December 29, 2023 at CHI Memorial Hospital. He was born September 24, 1966 in West Memphis, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Harrington, daughter, Stephanie Sullivan.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Harrington of the residence; children, Angel and Brandon Bonds of Dalton, GA, Eric and Tonie Welchel of Cedartown, GA; father, Paul Harrington of Arkansas; brother, Randy and Lisa Harrington of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Sandy Voyles; brother-in-law, Dwight Massingill of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Ashton Nelson, Carmen Nelson, Kalleigh Sullivan, Joyrae Sullivan; great grandchildren, Kyrie, Brayden, Kimani.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Dwayne Harrington will be held Thursday January 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Donald Cantrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park with Brandon Bonds, Dwight Massingill, Chad Massingill, Ronnie Moore, Eric Bailey and James Self serving as pallbearers.
