Mr. Dennis J. Ogles Jr., age 86, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Leconte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN. Mr. Ogles was born August 17, 1928 in Murray County, Georgia a son of the late, Dennis J. Ogles Sr. and Ronea Sane Ogles.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Louise Foster Ogles of the residence; special daughter, Pamela Pippin; special granddaughter, Bevin Summey of Dalton, GA; special cousin, Jerry Ogles of Alabama; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Dennis J. Ogles Jr. will be held Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Jerry Ogles and Pastor Bruce Beach officiating Interment will follow in the Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Chandler Carpenter, Colter Carpenter, Adam Foster, Tim Foster, La Darren Edgeman and D.J. Summey serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 6:00 p.m. until. 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
