Denise Sanders Higgins age 63 of Chattanooga departed this life Friday, May 10, 2019.  Denise was a life-long resident of Chattanooga and was born February 16, 1956 to her parents Billie and Clementine Mills Sanders.

Denise graduated from the Chattanooga "City" High class of 1973.  She attended UT Chattanooga majoring in Nursing.  Denise worked at Planters, Wrigley's, Golden Gallon and her last job was a Pharmacy Tech with Rite Aid where she loved the interaction with her customers.

She served as a Community advocate who was better known as "Precious" for a local radio station.

She was preceded in death by both parents Billie and Clementine Sanders and her brother Don.

She is survived by two brothers, two nieces, two nephews, cousins and a special childhood friend Marcella Eberhart. Graveside services to celebrate the life of Denise Sanders Higgins will be Wednesday May 15, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
