Mrs. Delores Jean Duncan age 61 of Fairmount, GA departed this life Saturday October 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born July 12, 1960 in Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, James Newberry, stepfather, Jerry Daniels, brothers, Leon Newberry, Tommy Newberry.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joseph Duncan Sr. of the residence; mother, Betty Daniels of Conyers, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Duncan Jr. and Monica Cronan of Fairmount, GA; daughters, Marenda Duncan of Resaca, GA, Sandy and Lee Young of Ranger, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Glen Newberry of Conyers, GA, James "Corky" and Margaret Newberry of Stockbridge, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Jessie and Billy Edmonds of Fairmount, GA, Rose Newberry of Conyers, GA; grandchildren, Joseph Duncan, Rielly Duncan, Joshua Young, Thomas Young, Jamond Cronan, Shea Cronan; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Thursday October 21, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Fairmount Chapel with Denny Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
