·        Mr. Delmer Thomas "Fuzzy" Young, age 61, of Ranger, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, October 13, 2024, at AdventHealth Gordon, in Calhoun, Georgia, surrounded by his loving family.

·         Fuzzy was born August 7, 1963, in Tate, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Young, mother and stepfather, Louise Timms Holbrook and Gary Holbrook, brothers, Ralph Young and Elmer Young, brothers-in-law, Ronnie Turner, Patrick Padgett, Franklin Padgett, Randall Buchanan, and Preston Timms.

·        He is survived by his wife, Inez Mulkey Young of Silver Creek, GA; sons, Damon Young of Jasper, GA, Derrick and Danielle Fuller of Fairmount, GA, Matt and Ansley Fuller of Lindell, GA; daughter, Kim and Brian Mealer of Adairsville, GA; sisters, Barbara Turner of Talking Rock, GA, Patricia Padgett of Ranger, GA, Hazel Buchanan of Ellijay, GA, and Mildred Imogene Young of Ranger, GA; sisters-in-law, Faye Young of Cartersville, GA, and Diane Young of Ranger, GA;  aunts, Jessie Lee Griffin of Fairmount, GA, and Stella Montfort of Talking Rock, GA; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

·        Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Delmer Thomas "Fuzzy" Young will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Fairmount Chapel with Reverend Pat Shelton officiating.  He will be laid to rest with his family at Friendship Baptist Church in Ludville, Georgia, with Michael Blaylock, Derrick Fuller, Brian Mealer, Jason Young, Dewayne Dowdy and Randy Tate honored to serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Fairmount Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the service hour.
