Mrs. Deborah Ann Shumake, age 69 of Dalton, Georgia departed this life Tuesday February 8, 2022 at the local hospital. Deborah was born December 23, 1952 in Sylvester, Georgia, the daughter of the late, Jay and Laura Black. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Big Al" Kenneth Shumake Sr; brother, Jimmy Black. Deborah work and retired from Advance Auto.

Deborah is survived by her son, Alfred Kenneth Shumake Jr.; daughter, Kelley and Shannon Gann; sister, Marlene White; grandchildren, Tyler, Elizabeth, Lilly.

Service to celebrate the life of Deborah Ann Shumake will be held, Monday February 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with her daughter giving the eulogy. Burial will take place at Little Prospect Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends, Monday February 14, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at 1:00 p.m.
