Mrs. Dawna "Nikki" Nichole Garner, age 35, of Dalton, GA., departed this life, Tuesday March 29, 2016 at the local hospital. Nikki was born October 22, 1980 in Dalton, Georgia. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Dalton First Baptist Church. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was a 1999 graduate of Murray County High School.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Garner; son, Jackson Monroe Garner; daughter, Emma Grace Garner all of Dalton, GA; parents, Gerald and Janette Ray of Chatsworth, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Darren Long; nieces and nephew, Jordan Ray and Harmony Jones, Karie Beth Keyser, one on the way, Leah all of Chatsworth, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norris and Renee Garner of Dalton, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dawna "Nikki" Nichole Garner will be held Friday April 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Brian Branam and Dr. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Liberty Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and after 12:00 noon on Friday.
