Mr. David Shane White, age 40, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Tuesday September 21, 2021 at his residence. Shane was born June 23, 1981 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Franklin and Diane Rittenhouse White.  He was also preceded in death by nephews and a niece, Justin Fowler, Isaiah Rosas and Gabriela Dorado and a sister-in-law, Katrina White.

He is survived by his brothers, Mark White and Frank Daniel White both of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Amy and Herbert Spurlock and Melissa Gutierrez all of Dalton, GA; companion, Kathy Spurlock of Chatsworth, GA sixteen nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. David Shane White will be held Monday morning, September 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Johnny West officiating.  He will be laid to rest at Dunagan Cemetery with Benny Clayton, Shannon Roach, Nathan Call, James Martin, William Norris and Austin Pelt honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 9:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
