Mr. David Wayne Baker, age 53, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, October 5, 2014 at his residence. David was born September 18, 1961 in Calhoun, Georgia.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty one years, Janelle Baker; parents, Samuel and Lillie Ann Baker; sons, Junior Wayne Baker, Joshua Wayne Baker; daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal Gail Sandoval, Tabitha Ann and Raul Ortaga all of Dalton, GA, Letisha and Jackie Pack of Cohutta, GA; brother, James Baker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann and Charles Allen, Margret and Jimmy Nix, Kathy and Marcus Hales all of Dalton, GA; ten grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. David Wayne Baker will be held Wednesday October 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Nathan Trammell officiating. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
