Mr. David Rittenhouse age 60, of Dalton, Georgia, departed the life Monday July 8, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. David was born March 10, 1953 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Emerald Carl Rittenhouse, brother, Saul Rittenhouse.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Rittenhouse; mother, Annie Ruth Rittenhouse of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya Gayle and Billy Crouch of Jamestown, TN; stepchildren, Joseph Evans of Dunlap, TN, Melissa Brook Rittenhouse of Dalton, GA, Patricia Gail Hill of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Karen Rittenhouse of Dalton, GA, Carl and Charlotte Rittenhouse of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Deborah Rittenhouse, Wanda Rutherford, Dawn Reed all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Devin and Bradley Myers; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. David Rittenhouse will be held Thursday July 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother Mike Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens with Billy Crouch, Joseph Evans, Steve Rutherford, Joe Reed, Lee Reed, Jonathan Rittenhouse, Matthew Rittenhouse and Donnie Rittenhouse serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Wednesday.
