Mr. David Wayne Leonard, age 73, of Calhoun, GA, departed this life, Tuesday April 11, 2017 at the local hospital. David was born December 17, 1943 in Abington, Virginia, the son of the late Bill Leonard and Nancy Fields Leonard. David was preceded in death by his love, Jessie Fields. David was veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam Conflict.

Mr. David Wayne Leonard is survived by his grandchildren, Jessie Thompson, Nichole Parks, George Fields, Samantha Hartsock, Rita Jhanke and four great grandchildren; step- daughters, May Hartstock and Mary Cummings.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. David Wayne Leonard will be held Friday April 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from Chattanooga National Cemetery, with American Legion Post 112 Dalton, GA.
