Mr. David Edward Kell age 61 of Cohutta, Georgia departed this life Thursday July 25, 2019 at his home.

David was born in Dalton, Georgia on February 17, 1958.  He was a son of the late Dewell and Cleo Gravely Kell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Mullinax Kell of the residence; his sons, TJ Kell of East Ridge, Tennessee, and Ryan Williams of Ringgold, Georgia; daughter, Christy Rogers of East Ridge, Tennessee; step-son Charles and Courtney Layne; step-daughter, Veronica Woodman;  sister, Linda Bailey of Cohutta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Velma Kell of Dalton, Georgia, Jesse and Kay Kell of Cohutta; sisters-in-law, Glenda Zumstein and her husband Hoyt Culberson of Calhoun, Tennessee, Lisa Morris and her husband Charles of Georgetown, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tori Moree and her husband Nathan, Avery and Emily Rogers, Veronica Woodman and David, Melody, Rose  and James Layne; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, Noah, Tymber and Titan Woodman; nephew, Daniel Zumstein;  several nieces, nephews, friends and relatives also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. David Kell will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Ponders Melrose Chapel.  Brother George Cross will officiate.

The Kell family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
