Mr. David Lamar Jenkins, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Monday, August 15, 2022 at the local hospital. He was born May 21, 1959 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late D.L. and Janice Barton Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Liz Jenkins, grandson Christian Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Ann Jenkins of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Devin and Savannah Jenkins of Rocky Face, GA, Justin Jenkins, Stephen Jenkins of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Chase Stancill of Dalton, GA; brother, Larry Jenkins of Dalton, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon Ann Jenkins of Villanow, GA, Judy Lynn and Johnny Crider of Dalton, GA; twelve grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of David Lamar Jenkins will be held Monday August 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
