David A. Frazier made his transition home surrounded by family on November 14, 2021 in Cartersville, GA. He was born in Atlanta, GA to Gladys and Don Frazier and grew up in Dalton, GA. After attending trade school for welding, David discovered his passion for trucking.  He spent his early years driving long haul and then later years driving regional when he was self-employed. He often enjoyed telling tall tales with his fellow truckers.

David was an avid reader. As a child he read the entire set of encyclopedias from cover to cover. He was self taught in many subjects, particularly, mechanical, electrical and technical. He especially enjoyed working on anything mechanical. In his last few years, David focused on his passion for gardening. He had the most beautiful and bountiful gardens that he enjoyed sharing with friends and family. Most of all, David loved his dogs. They were great companions during his long days of trucking and especially during the last days of his life.

David is preceded in death by his father George 'Don' Frazier. He is survived by his beloved mother Gladys E. Cooper Frazier of Cartersville, GA, sisters Genevieve L. Frazier of Kingston, GA, Donita L. Frazier (Jean-Pierre Held) of Santa Fe, NM, Beth R. Frazier (Joey L. Phillips) of Eugene, OR, nieces Lara Hart (Frank E. Torkel) of Eugene, OR, Nastassia F. Bryant of Knoxville, TN, nephew Kristopher A. Bryant (Maddie Bryant) of Atlanta, GA. and his most beloved dog Mystique.

Friends and family are invited to attend graveside services on November 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Dug Gap Cemetery, Dalton, GA followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:30pm at his home in Cartersville.
