Mr. David C. Chance, age 80, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, August 16, 2015 at NHC Healthcare of Rossville, GA. David was born June 24, 1935 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late J.E. and Ida Whaley Chance. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a very faithful member of the Antioch Baptist Church and will be missed. He was an active member of American Legion #1218.
He is survived by two loving brothers and sister-in-law, Duane and Ruby Chance, Don Chance of Dalton, GA.
At his request he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Sunday August 23, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. from the Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Donald Cantrell officiating. The family request no flower or food but donations can be made to the Antioch Baptist Church 1205 Antioch Rd Dalton, GA 30721.
