Mr. David F. Brogdon, age 62, of Chatsworth, departed this life Monday, February 15, 2016 surrounded by his loving sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ardella Brogdon, sisters, Betty and Linda and brothers, Paul and Johnny.

He is survived by his sons, Robert (Robin), Chris, Chattanooga, Alex (Renee), Ellijay; brother, Jimmy (Karen), NC; sisters, Martha (L.J.), Della Ledford, Dalton, Barbara (Tom) Hemrich of Ft. Myers, Suzie (Mike) Cline, Ooltewah, Carolyn Brogdon of Dalton; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to his friends at Chatsworth Health Care, Advantage Hospice of Ellijay, Lynwood Apts. and especially Madison, James and Linda.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. David Brogdon will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Gary McPherson officiating. He will be laid rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Graveside honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #112. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 12:00 p.m. noon Thursday until the service hour.
