Mr. Darron Vinson Moreland , age 53 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday August 8, 2021.   Darron was born June 25, 1968 in Dalton, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Lee Rich and a brother, Billy Moreland.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Dale of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jada and Andrew Baldwin; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Kelsey Moreland all of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Aria Baldwin, Andrew Baldwin, Wrynn Moreland and Andrew Moreland; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Kim Moreland of Calhoun, GA, Billy and Denise Rich, Chris Rich all of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Claude Cothran of Ringgold, GA, Lora and Joseph Norman of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Darron V. Moreland will be held Friday afternoon, August 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jeff Johnson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Gilmer County, Georgia, with Bradley Whaley, Alex Whaley, Tim Moreland, Raymond Neal, Joe Lee, and Greg Noland honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 11:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
