Mrs. Darlene McKee age 73 of Dalton, GA departed this life Wednesday February 17, 2021 at the local hospital. She was born April, 2, 1947 in Fannin County, GA, a daughter of the late Arvil and Della Dunn Sosebee. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew McKee. She was a member of Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford McKee of the residence; sons, Randy McKee and his wife Trisha of Huntsville, AL, Chris McKee and his girlfriend Pamela Roberson of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Liz Sosebee of TX, Danny and Nell Sosebee of Charlotte, NC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Willadean and Jerry Bartenfield of Calhoun, GA, Carolyn and Milton Roberts of Bowling Green, KY, Joan and Kenny Long of Dalton, GA, Lisa Cochran of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Darlene McKee will be held Saturday February 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
