Danny Lamar Prather age 61 of Acworth, GA departed this life Friday January 25, 2019 at the Redmond Regional Hospital in Rome GA. He was born January 24, 1958 in Cobb County, GA, a son of the late CL and Evelyn Prather. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Prather, sister Cathy Prather.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Dana Prather; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Kenneth Parks of Calhoun, GA; brothers, Charles and Kurt Prather of Acworth, GA; sisters, Rose Grover, Christine Cajal, Josie Clark of Acworth, GA, Pat Davenport of Blue Ridge, GA; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Sunday February 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
