Mr. Danny Waters Patterson, age 57, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, July 12, 2015 at his home. Danny was born August 27, 1957 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Billy and Louise Waters Patterson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Gary Sisson and Herman Stanley, father-in-law, George Tate Sisson. He was employed at MFG Chemical Company.
He is survived by loving wife, Carolyn Ann Sisson Patterson of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Derrick and Melissa Callahan, Christopher and Hannah Callahan; grandchildren, Jacey, Jordyn, Bryleigh and Colt all of Dalton, GA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty Stanley of Tunnel Hill, GA, Bobby and Charlene Sisson, Charlie and Kat Sisson, Brenda Sisson all of Dalton, GA, and Johnny and Frankie Sisson of Cohutta, GA; aunt, Sue Goss of Dalton, GA; three brothers, two sisters, several special nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life Mr. Danny Waters Patterson will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Dennis Chasteen officiating. He will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens with Tony Stanley, Johnny Sisson, Charlie Sisson, Jimmy Jorden, Rhett Stanley and Jonathan Sisson serving as pallbearers. Bobby Sisson will serve as honorary pallbearer.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
