Mr. Danny Ray Clayton, 75, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning, June 14, 2019 at the Assured Hospice Home in Cartersville, Georgia.

Mr. Clayton was born on May 26, 1944 in Marion, Ohio.  He was a son of the late Donald and Marjorie Vance Clayton.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn Snare Clayton; and a brother, Gary Clayton.

He faithfully served the United States for six years as a member of the Ohio National Guard.  Mr. Clayton was retired from Calhoun Plastics.

Mr. Clayton is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Lynn Thurman,  Melissa and Stephen Worley, Jessica and Jason Gallman all of Calhoun, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Tom Ackerman of Wadsworth, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, David and Deb Clayton of Marion, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Kayla Bell, Lacey Bell, Jayce Gallman, Madelyn Gallman, and Owen Worley.

To fulfill Mr. Clayton's wishes no public services will be held.
