Mr. Daniel Tyler Nichols , age 26, of Pickens County, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Tyler was born January 3, 1997 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd Matthews and Albert Childers.

He is survived by his parents, Danny Lee and Amy Childers Nichols; sister, Savannah Rose Nichols; brother, Jacob Lee Nichols all of Dalton, GA; grandparents, Carol Matthews, Richard and Onie Nichols all of Jasper, GA; half-sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Bryan Zinn of Marble Hill, GA; half-brothers, Justin Nichols and Jason Nichols both of Jasper, GA; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Daniel Tyler Nichols will be held Wednesday May 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Fairmount Chapel. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
