Mr. Daniel Paul Carter, age 71 of Tunnel Hill, Georgia departed this life Tuesday October 29, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1948 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late L.C. and Doris Masingill Carter. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Louis Carter, Calvin Carter, sister, Barbara Carter.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cindy Carter of the residence; sons, Daniel K. Carter of Tunnel Hill, GA, Daniel Dewayne Carter of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Pamela Sue Teasley of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sammy Carter of Dalton, GA, Bobby and Judy Carter of Tunnel Hill, GA, Kenny and Lisa Carter of Dalton, GA, L.C. Carter Jr. of Rocky Face, GA, Benny H. Carter of Dalton, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Karen and Erik Roberson of Dalton, GA, Linda Sims of Calhoun, GA; grandson, Zachary Teasley; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Daniel Paul Carter will be held Friday November 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Mike Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunagan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
