Ms. Daisy Mae Nile, age 73, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Chatsworth Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family. Daisy was born July 17, 1942 in Hampton, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Ida Byrd Vessel Williams. Daisy was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Longabaugh; brothers, Charles Cooper and David Cooper. Daisy was an over the road truck driver and after retirement her favorite hobby was sleeping.

Ms. Daisy Mae Nile is survived by her step-father, Kenneth Williams; sons, Edmund and Ann Nile of Crandall, GA., David Nutt of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Darrel Nutt and Nick Redmond of Panama City Beach, FL.; daughter, Brenda and Bob Ullum of Belpre, OH; brothers, Forrest Edward Cooper of Monticello, GA., Larry Lee Cooper of Five Points, AL.; sisters, Ruby Lee and Pete Hayes of Five Points, AL., Helen Ida and John York of Riverdale, GA., Patricia Diane and Tom Hill of Conyers, GA.; seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Chatsworth Health Care for their love and care that they gave Daisy.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Daisy Mae Nile will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Jim Weather officiating. Interment will take place at Morrow Cemetery, Adamson Parkway, Morrow, GA. Graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 19, 2016 from Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
