Mr. Curtis Lee Webb, Jr., age 71, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life, Tuesday March 14, 2017 at his residence. Curtis was born October 20, 1946 in Maryville, Tennessee, a son of the late Curtis Lee and Helen Marie Hicks Webb, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Burleson and Mary Sue Byrd and a brother, Charlie Webb.

Curtis proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was retired from Mohawk (Aladdin Plant) after thirty-five years of service. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Chatsworth, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Webb of Chatsworth, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Steven and Melissa Webb, Ed Crain all of Chatsworth, GA, Richard Webb and Tony Webb both of Maryville, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Scott Stephens of Dalton, GA, Joyce and Steve Hughes of Chatsworth, GA, Jennie Lynn of Ringgold, GA; sister, Bonnie Jennings of Maryville, TN; brothers, Gene Webb of Loudon, TN, Kenneth Webb of Maryville, TN, and Frankie Webb of Knoxville, TN; twenty-two grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Curtis Lee Webb, Jr., will be held Friday morning, March 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with his pastor, Reverend George Johnson officiating. Interment services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery #2, 541 Pleasant Hill Rd, Maryville, Tennessee, 37803. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. from 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
