Obituary

Mr. Coy Edward "Bill" Kendrick, age 80 of Crandall, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, May 19, 2021 at his home.

Bill was born July 2, 1940 in Crandall, Georgia, a son of the late Homer William and Dellie Hullender Kendrick.  He was retired from Carpeton Carpet in Eton, Georgia.

He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Margie Keener, Jean Welch, Deloris Kendrick and Betty Sue Kendrick, brothers, Eugene Kendrick and Donald Lee Kendrick.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Eunice Chastain Kendrick of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Trisha Kendrick of Crandall, GA, Annette and Jeff Robbins of Chatsworth, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony Chastain of Crandall, GA, Tony and Betty Kendrick, Craig and Sandra Kendrick all of Old Fort, TN, Eddie and Mary Kendrick of Eton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Kathy Kendrick, William Kendrick all of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Doris Calhoun of Crandall, GA, Faye Mayo of Uniontown, AL and Edna Mayo of Lakeview, Al: grandchildren, Cameron Mandujano and Haley Mantooth, Kayla Kendrick and Bryan Cochran, Kevin Chastain and Joey Chastain, Shannon and Tony Cole, Lindsay and Mickey Childers, Laura and Adam Rymer, and Leslie and Jarvis Bowen; great-grandchildren, Brantley Mandujano, Javen Chastain, Allison Chastain and Andrew Chastain; special friend, Tiffany Fraire  of Ringgold, GA; aunt, Ruby Bean of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Bill Kendrick will be held Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Billy Webb officiating.  He will be laid to rest with his family at the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Crandall, Georgia, Bryan Cochran, Kayla Kendrick, Cameron Mandujano, David Alvarez, David Alvarez, Aaron Alvarez and Alex Alvarez serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday until the service hour.
