Mr. Clyde Joe Nicholson, age 79, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Monday, January 24, 2022 at the local hospital. He was born December 17, 1942 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late John and Dora Woods Nicholson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, RJ Nicholson, Larry Nicholson.

He is survived by his sisters, Geneva Crider, Brenda Keeler, Wanda Woodruff of Rocky Face, GA, Margaret Smith of Stevenson, AL; brothers, Robert Nicholson, James Nicholson of Ringgold, GA, Jimmy Nicholson of Rocky Face, GA, Lloyd Nicholson of Crandall, GA, Bobby Nicholson of Ringgold, GA, Kenny Nicholson of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Clyde Joe Nicholson will be held Friday January 28, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Allan Hughey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. om Thursday, Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens.
