Mrs. Clyde Joe Minor age 90, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Friday September 20, 2019 at her residence. She was born May 13, 1929 in Murray County, GA, a daughter of the late Jim and Nan Rogers Baggett. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Southern, John Baggett, Cecil Baggett, Barry Baggett, sisters, Nell Evans, Myrtle Ledford.

She is survived by her husband, William H. Minor of the residence; son, LeeRoy Silvers of Chatsworth, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Weaver, Bernice and Jerry Baker, Nana Lou Minor all of Chatsworth, GA, Glenese and James Morgan of Dalton, GA; sisters, Frances Southern, Mildred Boatwright; seventeen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren, sixteen great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Clyde Joe Minor will be held Monday September 23, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Jamie Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Joshua McConathy, Jacob McConathy, Jessie Minor, Christopher Goforth, James Robbins and Brandon Sullivan serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
