Mr. Clyde Fowler, age 79 of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 4, 1938 in Murray County a son of the late Clearance and Delianie Lowery Fowler. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sue Millsap, Luevadie Bagley, son, Darryl Fowler, daughter Debbie Fowler, grandson, Darryl Fowler Jr., brothers, Michael Fowler, Steve Fowler, Marion Fowler, William Fowler, Clearence "Butch" Fowler Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Jerry Rogers Fowler of the residence; sons,   David Fowler; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Donny Stanley of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Marvin Fowler of West Virginia; sisters, Patricia and Roger Harris of Dalton, GA, Mattie and Paul Marshall of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Donny Stanley Jr., Mitchell Stanley, Jason Fowler, Shannon Southern, Tiffany Ingram, Zachary Fowler, Justin Fowler, Nicholas Fowler, Brandon Fowler; 18 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Clyde Fowler will be held Tuesday July 24, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Chad Shook   officiating. Interment will follow in the Casey Springs Cemetery with Nicholas Fowler, Rocky Tillman, Joe Rogers, Donny Stanley, and Clinton Stanley serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
