Ms. Cleo Leslie Almon, age 53, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Wednesday July 12, 2017 at her home. Cleo was born November 22, 1963 in Lafayette, GA, the daughter of the late Bennie Carrenthers. Cleo spent many years working in the nursing homes in Dalton, giving care and comfort to each person.

Ms. Cleo Leslie Almon is survived by her mother, Anna Bell Almon; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Brittany Almon of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Johanna and Shawn Wright of Anderson, SC; step-grandson, Giovanni Wright of Gainesville, GA; and special friend, Carol Hatfield.

A celebration of life will be held, Saturday July 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Elder Kenneth Cooper officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that contributions be made to Ponders Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
