Mrs. Claudia Marie Masy, 89, of Barrett Road, Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life on Saturday afternoon, November 25, 2017 at healthcare facility in Dalton, Georgia.

Mrs. Masy was born on March 29, 1928 in Jauche, Belgium. She was a daughter of her late parents Aimee and Pellagie Houbeau.

Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Emile Masy; and two daughters, Chantal Masy and Nicole St. Arnaud.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Masy is survived by her only daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Jimmy McCoy of Adairsville, Georgia; two grandchildren, Chantal St. Arnaud and Alexia Masy; and a very special friend, neighbor and caregiver for over 20 years Marie Chadwick, of Calhoun, Georgia.

Graveside service for Mrs. Claudia Marie Masy will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 2:00 from Fain Cemetery with James Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home.
