Mr. Clarence G Pingleton, age87, of Berea, KY, departed the life, Wednesday October 11, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare of Fort Oglethorpe, GA. He was born in Rockcastle County January 24,1930 the son of the late John and Nannie Wilmot Pingleton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Ruby Pauline Pingleton and a brother in law Carl Jenkins.He served in the Korean War, He was retired from Parker Seal after 34 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years Evelyn Rucker Pingleton; a son James & (Donna) Pingleton of Berea, KY; a daughter Gail & (James) Clayton of Tunnel Hill, Ga; grandson Jason (Kelly) Azbill of Tunnel Hill Ga. ; a granddaughter Melissa Pingleton of Berea; a great granddaughter Kaitlynne Azbill of Tunnel Hill Ga.; a step granddaughter Stephanie Clayton of Tunnel Hill, GA. .He is also survived by a brother Arnold (Ruth) Pingleton of Crab Orchard: a sister Lula Jenkins of Pensacola, Fl.; six nieces; one nephew.

Funeral Services for Mr. Pingleton will be held at Lakes Funeral Home Berea, KY,

Visitation Sunday 6-9 P.M. Funeral Monday 1:00 P.M. With Greg Lakes officiating , Burial in Madison Memorial Gardens, with Mike Moberly, Glen Roberts, Larry Kidwell, Bobby Blanton, Carl Pingleton, Shawn Pingleton serving as pallbearers.
