Mr. Clarence Cleveland Hicks age 61 of Ringgold, Georgia departed this life Friday January 23, 2015 at the local hospital. Clarence was born February 17, 1953 in West Virginia, a son of the late Willie and Sula Copley Hicks. He was also preceded in death by his wife Rachel Hicks.

He is survived by the love of his life, Ann Brewer of Ringgold, GA; a son Chris of Ohio; stepsons, Greg Patton of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Eric Patton of Ringgold, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Minnie Sue and George Webb of Warfield, KY; special friend, Brian Lewallen of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Ashley Patton, Katelyn Pierce; great grandchildren, Baileigh, Kiley, Camden, Gracelyn; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Clarence Cleveland Hicks will be held Monday January 26, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Joey Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
