Mr. Christopher "Chris" Wayne Messer, age 44, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center. Chris was born October 9, 1972 in Dalton, GA, the son of the late William Messer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Valarie Messer and brother, Billy Messer.

Mr. Christopher "Chris" Wayne Messer is survived by his son, Joshua (Samantha) Messer; daughters, Valarie Messer, Tiffany Messer; mother, Laura Simpson Messer Poer; brother, Jeffery Messer and sister, Susan Brackett.
