Christopher Alan "Chris" Patterson, 42, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life suddenly on Sunday morning, August 23, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Chris was born in Dalton, Georgia on September 4, 1977.  He was the only child of Perry Lee Patterson and Teresa Sue Smith Fee.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Frances Patterson, Frank Smith; uncle, Daniel Patterson; mother-in-law, Lois Gates; and his step-father, Henry Allen Fee.

Chris was a member of A Place to Worship Church in Chatsworth, Georgia and prior to becoming unable he worked at American Emulsion in Dalton.

Chris is survived by his wife, Debra Lucille Patterson, who whom he was married to on November 30, 2004; his son and daughter-in-law, Shane Alan and Bethany Patterson; mother, Teresa Smith Fee; father and step-mother, Perry and Pamela Patterson all of Chatsworth, Georgia; his only granddaughter, Raelynn Olivia Patterson; his grandmother, Nell Smith of Chatsworth; father-in-law, Steve McGhee of Chatsworth; a host of special friends and many more family members also survive.

To fulfill Chris's wishes he will be cremated.  A memorial service will be held at A Place to Worship on September 6, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
