Mrs. Christine H. Perian, age 71, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Friday March 4, 2016 at her residence. Christine was born December 24, 1944 in Cartersville, GA, a daughter of the late Howard Joshua Hopper and Pauline Monday Waters. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Hooper, sister, Dorothy Hooper.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ray Perian of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Annabel Perian of Davenport, FL, Travis and Cara Perian of Bloomington, IN, Christopher Ray Perian of Dalton, GA; daughter, Angela Perian of Dalton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Bea Hopper of Gainesville, GA, Howard Hopper of Dalton, GA, JW and Brenda Hopper of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and James Justice of Calhoun, GA, Wanda and Bobby Noland of Dalton, GA, Kathy and Ricky Robinson of Cedartown, GA, Mary Lynn and Ernest Harris of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Ashley, Cordelle, Curtis and Zackary Perian; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Christine H. Perian will be held Tuesday March 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend James Justice officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 8, 2016.
