Ms. Christa Kaye Silvers, age 55, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at her residence. She was born May 23, 1969 in Dalton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Charlie and Myrtle Hackney, Jim and Della Swanson, sister Shannon Renae Bennett.

She is survived by her spouse, Linda Faye Peek; son, Josh and Maria Quinn; daughter, Cesily and Ronnie Bowers of Dalton, GA; father and stepmother, Jerry and Shari Swanson of Chatsworth, GA; mother, Sharon Hackney McDonald of Dalton, GA; sisters, Rachael and Heath Steelman of Crandall, GA, Jennifer Bonilla of Dalton, GA; brother, BJ and Tiffany Swanson of Chatsworth, GA; seven grandchildren, Braxton Ramirez, Christian Ramirez, Laila Quinn, Daisy Medina Quinn, Annamarie Quinn, Hazel Quinn, Lianni Quinn, several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Christa Silvers will be held Friday February 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens.
