Mrs. Cherri Lynn Keen York  age 77, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Friday, July 11, 2025, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born March 24, 1948 in Portland, TN, a daughter of the late Henry and Edna Pauline Dunn Keen. She was also preceded in death by her husband Tony York Sr., son James Cherry, several siblings.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Cherry of Daton, GA, Tony York and Marla Nelms of Rocky Face, GA, Donnie and Jennifer York of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie Cherry, Vivian and Don Garrett of Portland, TN, Penny and Chad Mullinax of Adairsville, GA; brother Ricky Keen of Portland, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy and Larry Holmes of Portland, TN, Donna and Steve Mosley of Hendersonville, TN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cherri Lynn Keen York will be held Wednesday July 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Danny White officiating. Interment will follow in the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery with Randy York, Preston York, Tanner Huggins, Tyler Huggins, Tavin Strickland, and Timber Peterson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
