Mr. Charles Wayne Wells, age 78, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday, December 21, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 19, 1942 in Rome, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Eloise Wells, son Darran Wells.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Wells of the residence; his children, Tracy and Glenn Womack of Cedartown, GA, Kim Davis of Chatsworth, GA, James Huggins of Cartersville, GA, Bobby and Tonya Huggins of Blairsville, GA; sister, Lois Franks Baker of Tunnel Hill, GA grandchildren, Matthew Womack, Sean Keener, Dakota Keener, Kane Huggins, William Huggins, Angel Huggins, Thomas Huggins, Daniel Wells.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Charles Wayne Wells will be held Monday December 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Bill Franks and Shane Franks officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunagan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
